Although service she appreciates
More than any silly short love poem
When the dishes I clean
When I take care of things
When I clean up after myself
When I keep my clothes in their place
While more poems I’d prefer to write
Showering her with praise and love
As my method to show her my love
I know what touches her heart the most
Because I pay attention to her
And I listen to her subtle emotions
So off to the dishes I happily go
When I never could do them before
With as much love or happiness as I do now
