I wake up in the morning and notice my sleeping goddess
I love you
I run to the store to retrieve your croissant and coffee
And return home before you wake up
I love you
I blend our daily green drink for breakfast
I love you
I get right to work right on time at eight in the morning
I love you
I labor with love serving my clients
I love you
I feel my frustration and joy through the ebbs and flows
Of the day’s common occurrences
I love you
I pause to recharge my battery and reconnect with my purpose
I love you
The day winds down and I think of my goddess
I love you
Studying Chinese, eating dinner, writing an article
I love you
I sit down to write this poem
I love you
I watch you laugh as you describe your day
I love you
You support and encourage my work today
I love you
I receive your playful natter and musings
I love you
We relax on the couch together
Fully given after another day has passed
I love you
We lie down to cuddle together
Soon my goddess is sleeping
I love you
I tuck you in, crawl into bed and turn off the light
I love you
